Life is Good and Getting Better!

We human beings are a funny lot. We have been given everything we need to live a “happily ever after” life, and yet we seem bound and determined to focus on what is lacking in our lives. We are on an endless search for the right person, book, tape, CD or job to relieve the stress we seem to be feeling. We appear to be under the false assumption that life is a struggle, not easy and filled with anxiety. Oh, if we could just come across the right information, or if “lady luck” would glance our way, our lives would be perfect. We continue to look outside ourselves for love, peace, joy, happiness, prosperity and success.

The funny thing is that life is supposed to be filled with love, peace, joy, happiness, prosperity and success. The entire universe is lined up just to make sure our life is good and getting better. Everything we need, have ever needed or will ever need exists right now. That is the law, and it cannot be changed, altered or depleted. The universal law of good is everywhere present at all times in all places and is easily, equally accessible and available to everyone.

The 23rd Psalm assures us of that Truth, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” What a powerful affirmation! We have everything we need and with that thought comes a feeling of contentment and serenity. Our God is not a reluctant God, but a loving, caring, giving God. God created us, God sustains us and God anticipates our every need and good desire. God loves and cares for us. God wants us to experience life to the fullest. God’s love is total and complete; it covers every area of our life experience. God works in and through all things; God is omnipresent.

So often we forget that God works in all things for our highest and best good. Paul expresses this Truth so beautifully in his letter to the Romans, “And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God…” (Romans 8:38-39)

The entire universe is lined up just to make sure that our life is good and getting better. God has wonderful plans for us, plans to prosper us; He is preparing us now for new beginnings, wonderful insights and lives of fulfillment.

And what is our part? To remove our focus from lack and limitation of every kind, and to be open and receptive to accept the gifts, talents and good life God is bestowing upon us. What is our part? To keep our thoughts, words, actions and emotions in alignment with God’s vision for us. What is our part? To know with a deep inner knowing that the universe is lined up just to make sure our lives are good and getting better every moment of every day. This takes practice, practice, practice. It is said that practice makes permanent. If we do something often enough, it becomes a welcomed habit and our lives reflect confidence, grace and poise. With practice, we don’t react, we respond always coming from a point of power and wisdom.

The bountiful universe can’t help itself, it just keeps giving and its only desire is to supply us with happiness, joy, health, prosperity and an over all sense of well-being. The entire universe is lined up just to make sure our lives are good, mighty, and getting better every moment of every day.
